About the role

  • Assist the Site EHS Manager on all Health, Safety and Environment topics
  • Lead and implement EHS procedures on site
  • Implement the Group EHS standards required annually
  • Ensure EHS documents are kept up to date and analyze the impact of changes on health, safety and the environment
  • Ensure the site’s environmental compliance (waste management, water, air, transport of hazardous materials)
  • Prepare and monitor EHS reporting (indicators, dashboards), notably via the Gensuite tool, for EHS France and Corporate
  • Actively participate in the analysis, investigation and reporting of accidents, first-aid cases, near misses and hazardous situations
  • Contribute to developing the site’s EHS culture through employee information and training (onboarding new hires, awareness sessions, safety talks)
  • Conduct behavioral audits (BBS), site inspections and occupational risk analyses
  • Update the DUERP (Occupational Risk Assessment Document) and monitor associated action plans
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of working conditions
  • Plan and follow up on periodic general inspections and associated corrective actions
  • Train employees on various occupational risks
  • Manage the distribution and supply of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Implement and monitor the site’s environmental actions
  • Maintain regulatory watch on EHS matters
  • Analyze work accidents and occupational illnesses and ensure follow-up of corrective and preventive actions

Requirements

  • Proven initial experience within an EHS department in an industrial environment
  • Minimum Bac+2 (two-year post-secondary) degree in EHS, HSE or Industrial Risk Management
  • Ability to lead and monitor projects
  • Strong preference for field-based work
  • Good written and interpersonal skills
  • Good level of English required (written and spoken)
