About the role
- Lead strategic direct purchasing activities.
- Develop robust procurement strategies and negotiate supplier agreements.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure continuity of supply while achieving cost optimization.
- Drive contract negotiations with suppliers and define future requirements in collaboration with various business units.
- Track and report category spend and maintain KPIs for supplier performance.
- Research, recommend, and qualify new suppliers offering superior products and services.
Requirements
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Engineering (minimum requirement).
- Industry Experience – Must have worked in the pharmaceutical, biological, or medical business.
- Strategic Procurement Expertise – Skilled in negotiation, supplier relationship management, and procurement strategy.
- Risk Management – Strong understanding of risk mitigation and building long-term supplier partnerships.
- Operations Experience – Experience in the manufacturing sector is also highly valuable.
- Knowledge of Polish and English (international work environment).
