About the role
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target industries
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and industry events
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
- Assess customer requirements and conduct air system surveys
- Recommend appropriate air compressor systems, accessories, and aftermarket services
- Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and scope of supply documents
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to decision-makers
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close deals
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Coordinate with engineering and service teams for installation and commissioning
- Provide technical support and resolve customer issues promptly
- Ensure customer satisfaction and promote long-term loyalty
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- 3–5 years in technical sales, preferably in air compressors or industrial equipment
- Strong technical knowledge of air compressor systems and applications
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and travel as required
