About the role
- Interprets order requirements to coordinate assignments and establishes accountabilities
- Reviews customer purchase order amendments
- Works in conjunction with the Engineering Department to assemble layout assembly and detail drawing
- Prepares and forwards preliminary bills of material as well as revised submittals
- Monitors the progress of project equipment
- Develops project time estimates and product cost comparisons
- May oversee production processes
- Investigates and keeps management informed of problems in shipping projects
Requirements
- Interprets order requirements to coordinate assignments
- Works with Materials to revise assembly and parts lists drawings
- Handles customer requests and complaints
- Prepares preliminary bills of material
- Monitors project costs and advises management
- Develops project time estimates
- Oversees production processes
- Coordinates and maintains all Engineering documents
