Senior Vice President, Consulting

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides management oversight for the Consulting business unit
- Directs the activities of the Consulting business unit with emphasis on client success
- Responsible for participation in leadership meetings and implementation of strategic initiatives
- Works to meet and exceed performance goals for the Consulting business unit
- Ensures a standardized approach related to client delivery
- Assigns team members to client engagements based on project specifics
- Assists in completion of work plans related to service line growth initiatives
- Participates in promotional activities, speaking engagements, and meetings with the healthcare community
- Maintains current knowledge in consulting opportunities offered by Corazon
- Works with contacts to identify new business opportunities and technology advances
- Collaborates with leadership to identify and approach sales prospects
- Conducts performance appraisals for direct reports
- Provides oversight and mentorship for new hires
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree strongly preferred
- Healthcare management experience preferred
- Progressive management experience with demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team
- Work experience in healthcare management
- Demonstrated credibility in management of service lines with a keen understanding of business implications
- Three years of successful consulting experience in project leadership role
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making
- Must live in the Pittsburgh area and have a regular presence at the Corazon office site
