About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle for India, from workforce planning and onboarding through to development, performance, and offboarding.
  • Partner with leaders to provide practical advice on employee relations, performance, engagement, and team effectiveness.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, using data, business insight, and market context to influence decisions and solve people challenges.
  • Lead and support key people programs including engagement, talent reviews, succession planning, compensation cycles, and learning initiatives.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, IT, and regional HR teams to deliver business outcomes.
  • Drive compliance with Indian labour legislation, internal policies, audits, and governance requirements.
  • Contribute to regional HR projects, process improvements, and APAC wide initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of HR experience, including 3+ years in an HR Business Partnering role
  • Strong knowledge of the full employee lifecycle, employee relations, and HR operations
  • Working knowledge of local employment legislation and HR compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage senior leaders and global stakeholders
  • A proactive, hands on approach with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Experience using HR data, reporting, and insights to influence decisions and drive outcomes
  • Exposure to multinational or matrix environments
  • Experience in technology, fintech, or financial services is advantageous, as is exposure to Southeast Asia.
