Identify global and local business needs, specifications and requirements for sourcing projects
Share knowledge with Category Manager to develop and execute global category strategy
Collaborate with global business partners to understand strategic priorities
Lead end to end global e-sourcing initiatives including market research and proposal evaluations
Manage third-party risk and ensure compliance with regulations
Perform supplier relationship management, performance management, issue management and resolution
Support Category Management with negotiations and establishing buying channels
Play a role as strategic contributor in fields like ESG, procurement best practices, cost savings initiatives

Requirements

Master degree or equivalent preferably in a relevant field, such as supply chain, (computer) engineering, business administration, or finance
4-5 years of experience in IT Procurement area and preferably in an international financial services provider organization
Experienced subject matter expert in strategic sourcing and category management in IT Procurement in at least one domain of Software and SaaS, Hardware and IT Services
Strong negotiation skills based on data and facts
Experience in establishing global purchasing agreements directly with IT suppliers
Ability to build strong relationships with procurement and business stakeholders
Proactive, independent approach
Very good organizational and communication skills
Very good English skills (spoken and written) (B2/C1)
Very good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and E-Sourcing tools; experience with ERP systems or procurement tools is preferred
