About the role

  • Develop and maintain backend services for the Gaia web application
  • Design APIs and microservices using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure smooth integration
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and DevOps practices
  • Contribute to service design, strategy, and availability

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Java and/or Kotlin
  • Familiar with Spring Boot and object-oriented design
  • Understand relational databases (MS-SQL is a plus)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps)
  • Comfortable working in agile teams and DevOps environments
  • Basic knowledge of frontend technologies like React or WebComponents
