About the role
- Design, development of new API solutions using Go language
- Maintenance and enhancement of existing APIs
- Deployment and management of applications on OpenShift
- Contribution to CI/CD pipeline development and optimization
- Use various technologies on top of Redhat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server
- Build and improve monitoring/alerting and observability across services and automate tasks throughout the platform lifecycle, eg: Prometheus, Grafana, ElasticSearch, Logstash
- Collaborate with development teams to understand needs/provide enablement and drive adoption of best practices
- Contribute to platform architecture, documentation and internal tooling
- Carry out production deployments, identifying and patching bugs and reducing inefficiencies
- Provide 24x7 coverage (weekends and evenings) for standby duty on a rotational basis with other team members
Requirements
- Have extensive experience in Go programming for API development and maintenance
- Have experience in designing and implementing REST APIs
- Understand CI/CD principles and practices
- Have experience with GIT
- Have knowledge of project patterns
- Have knowledge of OpenAPI specification
- Have basic knowledge of issues related to databases
- English level B2/C1
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) is a plus
- Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus
- Knowledge of event streaming platform (Apache Kafka) is a plus
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration is a plus
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack) is a plus
