About the role

  • Design, development of new API solutions using Go language
  • Maintenance and enhancement of existing APIs
  • Deployment and management of applications on OpenShift
  • Contribution to CI/CD pipeline development and optimization
  • Use various technologies on top of Redhat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server
  • Build and improve monitoring/alerting and observability across services and automate tasks throughout the platform lifecycle, eg: Prometheus, Grafana, ElasticSearch, Logstash
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand needs/provide enablement and drive adoption of best practices
  • Contribute to platform architecture, documentation and internal tooling
  • Carry out production deployments, identifying and patching bugs and reducing inefficiencies
  • Provide 24x7 coverage (weekends and evenings) for standby duty on a rotational basis with other team members

Requirements

  • Have extensive experience in Go programming for API development and maintenance
  • Have experience in designing and implementing REST APIs
  • Understand CI/CD principles and practices
  • Have experience with GIT
  • Have knowledge of project patterns
  • Have knowledge of OpenAPI specification
  • Have basic knowledge of issues related to databases
  • English level B2/C1
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) is a plus
  • Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus
  • Knowledge of event streaming platform (Apache Kafka) is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration is a plus
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack) is a plus
