About the role

  • You model our SEPA payment processes with both solid fundamentals and innovative approaches.
  • You oversee the interaction between business and IT.
  • You analyze existing processes, manage and coordinate IT requirements, and prioritize what needs to be done and when.
  • You conduct internal IT tests and ensure thorough system and process documentation.
  • You play a key role in production support and third-level support, advising and assisting where necessary.

Requirements

  • Degree in (business) computer science, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification
  • Relevant professional experience, e.g., in payments within the banking sector
  • Solid knowledge of bulk and individual payment processing and of corresponding settlement applications
  • Practical experience in IT operations / application management and working with relational databases, e.g., Oracle
  • Familiarity with core banking systems and experience with project work (waterfall and agile), and enthusiasm for actively shaping a dynamic (change) environment
  • Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented working style, combined with the ability to prepare and present information tailored to the audience
  • Ability to think beyond your immediate scope and develop sustainable solutions
  • Excellent German and English, both written and spoken.
