About the role

  • build and maintain an object storage platform on top of Kubernetes
  • expand existing block-based storage capabilities to include object-based storage as a service
  • work closely with the team managing OpenShift and Portworx platforms
  • develop and refine product backlog features for current and new platforms
  • automate platform processes and test integrations
  • document features and processes and present them in Cloud Roadshows
  • collaborate with other teams to understand needs and drive adoption of best practices
  • support internal customers and troubleshoot critical production issues
  • contribute to platform architecture, documentation, and internal tooling
  • carry out production deployments and optimize infrastructure
  • provide 24x7 coverage (weekends and evenings) for standby duty on a rotational basis

Requirements

  • experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms
  • hands-on experience with OpenShift
  • familiar with object-based storage solutions, especially MinIO
  • understand DevOps principles and practices
  • experience with block-based storage
  • comfortable working in a dynamic, cloud-native environment
  • can build integrations across infrastructure systems to support end-to-end customer journeys
  • able to document features and processes clearly and present them in internal forums
  • English level: B2/C1
  • experience with Portworx or similar storage platforms is a plus
  • knowledge of Amazon S3 or similar object storage services is a plus
  • familiarity with automation and testing of platform processes is a plus
  • experience with cloud-native monitoring and logging tools is a plus
  • ability to collaborate across teams and tribes is a plus
