About the role
- Define and execute a multi-year roadmap for the evolution of detection models and analytics
- Spearhead the deployment of next-generation analytics solutions, including machine learning, anomaly detection, and predictive threat modeling
- Oversee the strategic consolidation and governance of security data from diverse sources
- Collaborate at a senior level with Global Head of SOC, IT, and data science teams
- Lead, develop, and empower a global team of data scientists, detection engineers, and security analysts
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators that reflect transformation progress
- Ensure all analytics initiatives adhere to applicable legal, regulatory, and privacy requirements
- Present strategic findings, trends, and recommendations to the executive board and senior stakeholders
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in cybersecurity and analytics
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Demonstrated expertise in driving enterprise-wide transformation involving advanced detection, machine learning, and data analytics
- Experience establishing and leading high-performing, global, cross-functional teams
- Thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards relevant to the banking sector (e.g., GDPR, SOX, GLBA)
- Recognized certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Certified Data Scientist) preferred
- Exceptional strategic, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
