About the role
- Oversee and grow sales across the South Central.
- Manage and expand distributor relationships.
- Develop new accounts and drive sales of IPS’s water, gas, and related pipe products.
- Execute territory growth strategies including pricing, freight optimization, and promotional activities.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets.
- Build long-term customer relationships by delivering tailored, value-added solutions.
- Provide regular market intelligence and sales insights through forecasts, bi-weekly calls, and monthly reports.
- Represent IPS at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
- Coordinate product delivery and project execution with manufacturing and customer teams.
- Collaborate with inside sales and customer service for timely quoting, order fulfillment, and customer support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of outside sales experience in our field or related business.
- Proven success managing a distribution network and driving sustained sales growth.
- Experience applying data and market analysis to guide sales decisions.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in CRM systems, MS Office Suite, and virtual meeting platforms.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% across the region.
- Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently in a home office.
