About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT projects and digital transformation streams from inception through operational handover
Establish efficient delivery cadence and facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and showcase reviews
Proactively manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID)
Resolve blockers before they affect delivery targets
Work with Product Managers to align sprint goals with strategic product roadmaps and commercial objectives
Coordinate engineers, QA, Product Managers, and third-party vendors to deliver outcomes on time and within budget
Advocate for Agile and hybrid delivery best practices with appropriate governance
Manage delivery across software, cloud, and digital IT initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must hold SC Clearance
Direct experience managing software development, cloud infrastructure, or digital transformation deliveries
Deep expertise in Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban
Practical experience integrating Waterfall governance where necessary
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Slack, and MS Teams
Ability to discuss technical constraints, pipelines, and architectural dependencies with software architects and DevOps engineers
Exceptional communication skills and experience managing conflicting business priorities and senior executive expectations
Hands-on experience directing external vendors, software agencies, or outsourced teams
