About the role
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into Appian solutions
- Design, develop, and implement Appian applications, adhering to best practices and industry standards
- Provide technical leadership to a cross-functional team, guiding them through the entire Appian development lifecycle
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues, quickly determining the root cause and implementing effective solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful integration of Appian applications with existing systems and databases
- Conduct system performance evaluations and optimize Appian solutions for improved speed and efficiency
- Act as a subject matter expert, staying up-to-date with the latest Appian features and advancements
- Provide support and technical guidance to junior team members, promoting continuous learning and growth
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience in designing and implementing Appian solutions, with a strong understanding of Appian architecture
- A deep knowledge of Appian components including Appian SAIL, Process Design, Rules, Security, and Integration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Proven experience working in Agile development methodologies, delivering high-quality solutions within established timeframes
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering positive relationships and promoting a culture of innovation
- Appian Level 3 certification or higher is highly preferred
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members
