Full-stack Engineer

• Design, develop, and scale backend-heavy PHP systems for EBPP (Electronic Bill Presentment & Payment), client portals, and print/mail production
• Lead data processing, API integrations, GitLab CI/CD, and RabbitMQ queues; support jQuery/HTML frontends
• Drive SOC2/PCI compliance and efficiency
• Develop/maintain PHP backend services, REST APIs for EBPP job submission, invoice processing, and production tracking
• Own GitLab CI/CD pipelines; manage version control, testing, and rollouts
• Integrate data workflows; optimize SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) for high-volume transactions
• Align backend with jQuery/HTML client portals (e.g., job submission forms, previews)
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system issues in a timely manner
• Contribute to IT modernization of client portals from jQuery/HTML to React/Next.js + Tailwind CSS; prototype new UIs with AI tools
• Document code / architecture; lead code reviews, process improvements, deployments/migrations
• Ensure application security (OAuth), data integrity, and compliance with industry standards (including SOC, HIPAA, PCI, if applicable, etc.)
