About the role
- Help maintain our Water Distribution Network and ensure customers receive high‐quality drinking water
- Learn operational processes and gain skills to support Water Quality and Water Aesthetics programmes
- Work closely with Maintenance Managers, technicians, planners, and scientific teams
- Deliver planned maintenance, network surveys, asset inspections, water sampling and flushing activities
- Operate underground assets and use digital tools to record and update information
- Provide customer‐focused support during water‐related incidents
Requirements
- Practical, hands‐on approach and enjoyment of working outdoors all year round
- Willingness to learn about the Water Distribution Network and water quality processes
- Ability to work safely in line with Anglian Water’s Health & Safety standards
- Strong communication skills and a customer‐focused mindset
- Confidence using digital devices to record data and update network information
- Ability to work flexibly, including participation in out‐of‐hours activity when required
- A positive attitude and commitment to continuous learning and development
- Ability to travel around the region as part of day‐to‐day duties
