About the role
- The Lead Maintenance Engineer will play a pivotal role in the oversight and delivery of critical maintenance activities.
- Responsible for delivering a comprehensive maintenance programme across designated sites.
- Drive improvements that reduce asset downtime and increase asset availability.
- Align planned work with local shutdowns to improve efficiency in the delivery of planned maintenance activities.
- Ensure all safety critical equipment maintenance activities are completed on time and in line with compliance requirements.
- Provide mechanical and electrical technical support to Maintenance Managers and their teams.
- Lead and undertake project work within the area, including initiatives to reduce operating costs and optimise mechanical and electrical asset performance.
Requirements
- Possess a NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent in a relevant maintenance discipline is essential
- Proven practical experience of fault finding and improvement of mechanical and electrical assets through Planned Preventative Maintenance and strong Root Cause Analysis skills
- Good understanding of Contractor management and MOC policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Water Recycling processes and associated Health and Safety requirements knowledge is essential
- Experience using various IT programmes including SAP, IRIS and Power BI
- Flexible approach to work as the sites operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
- Full UK driving license.
