About the role
- You actively acquire new customers from the machine and plant engineering sector and convince them of our smart software solutions for production optimization.
- You independently manage the entire sales process — from situation and needs analysis through presentations and workshops to proposal preparation and contract negotiation.
- You identify what customers really need, analyze complex challenges, and demonstrate how our solutions deliver real value — in quality, timing, and economic terms.
- You work closely with our CRM system, maintain a reliable pipeline, and use forecasts as a planning tool rather than as mere estimates.
- You build sustainable relationships — even during long decision-making processes — and guide your contacts through the sales process with expertise and tact.
- You use trade shows and industry events in mechanical engineering strategically for networking and lead generation.
- You will be supported by Business Development with qualified leads that you successfully convert into customers.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- 2–5 years of experience in consultative sales of complex software solutions, e.g., as a Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, or Customer Success Manager.

- Strong communication and presentation skills, and a confident presence — at both departmental and C-level.
- Experience with SaaS products and a good sense for commercial dynamics and sales opportunities.
- Independent, systematic, and structured way of working — combined with genuine team spirit.

- Willingness to travel occasionally within the DACH region.
