About the role
- You are responsible for implementing, monitoring and continuously improving security measures across the company.
- You work closely with central IT and other departments to effectively plan, prioritize and coordinate security-related matters.
- Together with the IT teams, you develop technical security concepts based on risk, threat and vulnerability analyses.
- You implement security measures, optimize existing solutions and think innovatively to continuously improve security processes.
- You define clear procedures and instructions for preventing and managing security incidents.
- In critical situations, you make quick, well-founded decisions and communicate them clearly and efficiently across the organization.
- In addition, you take responsibility for collaborating with external security experts and service providers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in IT security (e.g., as an IT Security Engineer, Cyber Security Architect, IT Security Manager or Security Operations Manager)
- Experience securing Windows domains, IT systems and networks, and an understanding of the challenges and best practices in IT security
- Independent and structured working style with a highly solution-oriented mindset to implement security measures effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused demeanour to communicate complex security topics clearly and understandably
- Fluent German and English (both at least C1 level)
- Strong team spirit and enjoyment of working collaboratively to achieve shared goals
