Head of Marketing – Events

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop event marketing strategies for the Americas in partnership with Sales and Product teams
- Define and execute integrated, multi‑channel marketing campaigns aligned to business objectives
- Plan and deliver marketing strategies across products, regions and target audiences
- Own and track marketing performance against KPIs, revenue targets and audience growth metrics
- Lead marketing delivery across key flagship events including Risk Live Boston, Energy Risk USA, Tech & Data in Financial Markets and Risk Live Nashville
- Set, manage and optimise marketing budgets to maximise return on investment
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer behaviour to inform strategy
- Analyse internal and external data to drive audience development and database growth strategies
- Collaborate with global marketing teams to deliver consistent cross‑regional messaging and campaign alignment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Events marketing experience is a must. Preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution and project management skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the marketing mix, including both digital and direct marketing
- Proven success in driving qualified leads and achieving revenue goals
- Analytical with the ability to translate outcomes into creative/innovate initiatives
- Strong understanding of market research
- Experience in developing and executing new product launches
- Strong proficiency in PPC, social media marketing, and campaign optimization
- Commercially focused and driven with the desire to aggressively grow revenues in the Americas
- Thrives under pressure and is proactive at coming up with solutions
- A skilled communicator and influencer
