About the role

  • Qualification, classification and processing of support tickets in 1st and 2nd level support for hardware and software
  • Network and server administration of various IT services, e.g. authorization systems, user management, patch management, software distribution, UC systems and groupware
  • IT administrative tasks such as asset management, procurement, documentation, and employee on-/off‑boarding
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of clients, peripherals and, where applicable, server components
  • Documentation of solutions and processes and maintenance of knowledge base articles
  • Participation in IT projects

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training, e.g. IT Specialist for System Integration, or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of experience in service-oriented customer support in IT
  • Good knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments on clients and servers
  • Knowledge of common network technologies (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP)
  • Experience administering users and groups in MS Active Directory
  • Familiarity with ticketing and monitoring systems
  • Strong service orientation, quick comprehension and good communication skills
  • Analytical thinking, independent and structured working style, and a team player
  • Very good German and good English skills
