About the role
- Qualification, classification and processing of support tickets in 1st and 2nd level support for hardware and software
- Network and server administration of various IT services, e.g. authorization systems, user management, patch management, software distribution, UC systems and groupware
- IT administrative tasks such as asset management, procurement, documentation, and employee on-/off‑boarding
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of clients, peripherals and, where applicable, server components
- Documentation of solutions and processes and maintenance of knowledge base articles
- Participation in IT projects
Requirements
- Completed vocational training, e.g. IT Specialist for System Integration, or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in service-oriented customer support in IT
- Good knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments on clients and servers
- Knowledge of common network technologies (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience administering users and groups in MS Active Directory
- Familiarity with ticketing and monitoring systems
- Strong service orientation, quick comprehension and good communication skills
- Analytical thinking, independent and structured working style, and a team player
- Very good German and good English skills
