About the role
- In the Finance Department — consisting of Accounting and Controlling — you and your team build a strong financial foundation for our company.
- Responsible for preparing monthly and annual financial statements and reporting to our parent company (HGB & IFRS).
- Independent management of ongoing financial accounting, including sub-ledger and fixed asset accounting.
- Structured handling of our project business — from invoice verification to posting incoming and outgoing invoices as well as credit notes.
- Payment transactions and active cash-flow management.
- VAT prepayments, ZM reports (EU sales listings), tax analyses and monitoring of relevant types of taxes.
- Collaboration with internal business units, group stakeholders, auditors and tax consultants.
- Further development, optimization and documentation of efficient accounting processes.
- Special projects in cooperation with the Head of Finance.
- You challenge the status quo, identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes in a structured way.
Requirements
- A degree in business administration.
- A commercial apprenticeship with further qualification as a Certified Balance Sheet Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter, IHK).
- Or vocational training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellter).
- Solid knowledge of IFRS and experience in project-based business.
- Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting — ideally within a GmbH in a corporate group.
- Confident in preparing annual financial statements and an interest in tax-related matters.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and experience with common ERP systems.
- Interest in process optimization, automation and learning new systems.
- A structured, independent way of working and strong communication skills.
- Very good German and confident English skills.
