About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of invoicing professionals across the EMEA region
- Drive operational excellence across the end-to-end invoicing lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate invoice generation
- Monitor and improve key operational KPIs including Time-to-Invoice, invoice accuracy, automation rate, and customer satisfaction metrics
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement scalable process improvement and automation initiatives
- Partner with technology and transformation teams to deliver workflow automation and operational efficiency projects
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, Legal, and external customers to resolve invoicing challenges
- Present operational performance updates, risks, and improvement opportunities to senior leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in invoicing, billing, order-to-cash, revenue operations, or shared services environments
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing and developing operational teams – it’s a must
- Strong understanding of invoicing processes, billing operations, financial controls, and compliance requirements
- Demonstrated experience driving process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate operational data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and presentation skills
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
