About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a Regional Payroll Process Owner, overseeing end-to-end payroll operations across multiple EU countries
- Execute payroll activities within agreed deadlines and in compliance with company policies, work-time regulations, and labor laws
- Review payroll calculations, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and employer costs, ensuring accuracy before final approval and funding
- Prepare general ledger (GL) files and collaborate closely with the Finance team
- Maintain and manage relationships with payroll vendors
- Support audits, regulatory inspections, and payroll-related requests
- Drive implementation of changes resulting from legal requirements, corporate directives, business needs, or improvement initiatives
- Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assigned countries
- Handle employee payroll-related queries and daily operational questions
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 2 years of experience in payroll operations
- Solid understanding of payroll processes and compliance requirements
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
- High attention to detail with strong analytical thinking skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask, coordinate, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service mindset with solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to work.
