Lead and mentor a technical team, ensuring delivery of high-quality automation and control solutions.
Partner with Project Managers to build accurate schedules, budgets, and reports, and identify and mitigate risks while driving on-time, on-budget delivery.
Engage with customers to understand business drivers, define requirements, and translate them into User and Functional Requirements.
Oversee design, programming, testing, and commissioning activities across multiple projects and enforce best practices and company standards.
Develop and review factory and site acceptance test documents in alignment with GAMP and customer requirements.
Support sales and marketing efforts by promoting team capabilities and company expertise.
Requirements
2–7 years managing automation projects and technical teams; demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and coordinate multi-project delivery.
Hands-on experience in the design, implementation, and commissioning of PLC/SCADA-based building automation and process control systems.
Experience working on government-funded or regulated projects, including compliance, reporting, and oversight.
Proven ability to design and implement Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) that meet SIL2 requirements, including hazard analysis, safety lifecycle management, and verification.
Experience documenting, testing, and deploying control systems in life sciences and/or critical infrastructure environments.
Direct, first-hand experience deploying systems into production environments.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
Exceptional problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills with customers, vendors, and project teams.
Willingness to travel up to 30%.
