About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor management, reimbursements, and payment approvals.
Lead monthly close processes, revenue recognition, financial reporting, and ensure accurate books across the business.
Manage tax filings, compliance, and financial operations across multiple jurisdictions.
Build financial models, cash flow forecasts, runway analyses, headcount planning, and scenario modeling to support decision-making.
Partner with leadership on fundraising, investor reporting, due diligence, and board materials.
Improve internal financial processes, policies, and tooling to help the business operate more efficiently as we scale.
Support insurance renewals and other operational initiatives that keep the business running smoothly.

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience across investment banking, strategic finance, FP&A, corporate finance, or startup finance, including experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company
Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Experience owning core finance operations, including month-end close, revenue recognition, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Ability to build financial models independently and communicate insights that influence business decisions
High ownership with the ability to operate autonomously and build processes in a fast-moving startup environment
Strong attention to detail while maintaining the ability to think strategically across the business
Based in the US or Canada.
