About the role
- Prospect and generate leads using LinkedIn, CRM databases, and other resources
- Conduct outbound outreach via cold calling, emailing, and social media engagement
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads by assessing prospect needs and interest in the SaaS solution
- Set appointments and demos and work closely with Account Executives to transition qualified leads
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system tracking outreach activity and outcomes
- Stay up to date on product knowledge and industry trends to articulate value proposition
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales, providing feedback on lead quality and messaging
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute insights from prospecting efforts
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in telesales, sales, business development, or customer-facing role (SaaS experience preferred but not required)
- Proven results in a fast paced environment; ability to handle volume and stay organised
- Strong communication skills: exceptional written and verbal skills with a confident phone presence
- Goal-driven and self-motivated with a drive to exceed targets
- Ability to handle rejection and persistently pursue new leads in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
