The Demand and supply Planner is responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations, including planning, manufacturing, optimizing inventory levels, with a strong focus on managing third-party contract manufacturing (CM) global relationships. This role ensures operational excellence, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery of products while maintaining high-quality standards and compliance.
Responsibilities Lead and manage all operational aspects including supply planning and production. Oversee contract manufacturing partners: performance management, cost negotiation, and production planning. This role will be partnering with the sales teams, to ensure the demand process delivers an agreed and workable sales forecast, identifying incremental demand, ensuring gaps and overlaps are addressed, different scenarios being evaluated, and issues appropriately escalated to meet business objectives.
Develop and implement strategies and BI tools to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels. Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards across all manufacturing partners Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams. Identify and mitigate operational risks, bottlenecks, and supply disruptions. Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.). Manage operational budgets, KPIs, and reporting metrics. Support new product launches and scale-up activities with CMs. Evaluate and onboard new manufacturing partners as needed.
Requirements
B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering – A Must.
2-3 years of relevant experience.
Proven leadership skills in a matrix environment.
Very strong analytical skills.
Organized and efficient, capable of performing well with multiple priorities and interfaces and constructive challenge stakeholders.
Customer-oriented proactive attitude takes initiative, creates an achievement environment.
