About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the strategic expansion and further development of partner and customer relationships in the Smart Metering and energy sector.
  • Manage and implement complex projects together with major customers, resellers and other market partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market potential and partnerships related to the energy transition.
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop scalable solution approaches in collaboration with internal specialist departments.
  • Act as interface manager between Sales, Product Management, IT, Operations, Market Communication and Logistics.
  • Independently lead projects – from concept to operational implementation.
  • Prepare, facilitate and follow up on workshops, meetings and strategic alignments.
  • Create business cases, reports, presentations and decision documents for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the setup and optimization of internal processes, tools and new business models.
  • Monitor regulatory and market developments in the Smart Metering and energy sector.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Business Administration, Energy Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in Business Development, Project Management, Partner Management or Consulting.
  • Ideally experience in the energy industry, Smart Metering or in tenant electricity, PV (solar) or flexibility projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly understand complex relationships.
  • High level of personal responsibility, strong execution skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong communication skills and a confident manner with customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Technical affinity and interest in digital products, processes and interfaces.
  • Structured and solution-oriented way of working, also in dynamic environments.
  • Confident user of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
