About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Track, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using quantitative and geospatial data interpretation methods.
- Collects, validates, and interprets data from multiple internal and external sources while ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Designs and supports automated data pipelines for database updates and reporting, using APIs, scripting, and ETL processes to ensure reliable data integration.
- Perform database management functions, including maintaining databases for ridership, service KPI data, and other trip-related operational datasets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document and review existing and emerging business processes, develop detailed flowcharts, and draft SOPs.
- Designs and develops interactive data visualizations and reporting solutions using programming languages and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, data analytics, data science, computer science, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in data analysis/business analysis with a bachelor’s degree or one (1) year of professional experience with a master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with Advanced SQL.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience with API-based data integration and automated data workflows, including scripting (e.g., Python or similar languages) to support data extraction, transformation, and processing.
