About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Find skilled and qualified candidates to fill open positions throughout the Fire Department Testing division.
  • Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting, interviewing, and evaluating potential candidates.
  • Work with and advise managers on candidates for available various open positions.
  • Establish recruiting requirements by studying the company’s plans and objectives.
  • Meet with management to discuss needs.
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting internet sites and media.
  • Attract applicants by advertising through internet job boards and other media sources.
  • Determine candidate qualifications by reviewing resumes, interviewing, analyzing responses and verifying references.
  • Coordinate pre-employment screening including background checks, drug testing, etc.
  • Work with Managers and HR partners to coordinate onboarding for new hires.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years Employment recruiting experience including Full Cycle recruiting
  • Knowledge in Industrial Inspection and Fire Department fields
  • High Energy and Excellent Communication Skills
  • Professionalism
  • Knowledge of employment law in regards to recruiting
  • Must have strong time management skills
  • Multi-Tasker
  • Proficient in MS software including outlook, word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Proven record of success in recruiting
  • Results Oriented
  • Self-Motivated and Driven to get things done
