About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop software based on system and subsystem requirements
Contribute to distributed, mission-critical ATM systems
Ensure traceability between requirements, implementation, and testing
Perform: Development and integration activities, Testing and validation
Manage and resolve software anomalies and defects
Apply AI-assisted tools to improve: Development productivity, Code quality and maintainability, Automation across the lifecycle

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics, or similar)
4-6 years of experience in software developments)
High level of English (written and spoken)
Spanish speaker
Strong experience in: C / C++ and/or ADA
Experience with Python scripting is a plus
Experience working in Linux environments
Familiarity with: Version control (Git / ClearCase), Issue tracking (JIRA), Requirements management (DOORS)
Understanding of end-to-end software lifecycle (design, coding, testing, integration)
Experience or strong interest in using AI-powered development tools, such as: GitHub Copilot (code generation, refactoring, testing support) Microsoft 365 Copilot (documentation, analysis, automation)
Understanding of best practices for AI-assisted coding, including: Prompt engineering for development tasks Validation of AI-generated outputs (critical in safety environments)
