About the role

  • Assist with the planning and administration of networks (routing, VLAN, switching, VPN)
  • Support configuration and operation of firewalls (WatchGuard, optionally Sophos / Fortinet)
  • Implement and document security policies and network zones
  • Provide technical support for regional customer projects — with increasing responsibility

Requirements

  • Initial professional experience or internship in network engineering or IT security
  • Basic knowledge of VLAN, routing, switching, or VPN
  • Motivation to develop expertise in firewalls and IT security (e.g., WatchGuard, Sophos, or Fortinet)
  • Completed IT qualification (e.g., degree in computer science, vocational training as an IT specialist) or equivalent knowledge
  • German: C1+, English: B1+
