About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and lead a multi-year transportation program strategy supporting patient access and organizational growth
Define the responsibility matrix between Indigenous Pact and clinic teams covering safety, compliance, maintenance, insurance, and ADA requirements
Build and manage a fleet acquisition and leasing strategy across Eastern and Western Washington
Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal NEMT regulations
Evaluate, implement, and manage transportation software platforms; train staff and lead upgrades as needed
Directly supervise 2–3 dispatchers; develop and implement staff training frameworks across all sites
Establish KPIs and resource planning models to guide staffing and fleet decisions
Manage day-to-day program expenditures and identify cost efficiencies within VP-set budgets

Requirements

What you’ll need

7–10+ years in transportation operations, fleet management, or NEMT program leadership
Experience managing multi-site transportation programs
Strong knowledge of transportation regulatory compliance (local, state, federal)
Experience developing fleet acquisition strategies, training programs, and operational policies
Strong communication, problem-solving, and people leadership skills
Washington State residency or willingness to relocate
