About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and lead a multi-year transportation program strategy supporting patient access and organizational growth
  • Define the responsibility matrix between Indigenous Pact and clinic teams covering safety, compliance, maintenance, insurance, and ADA requirements
  • Build and manage a fleet acquisition and leasing strategy across Eastern and Western Washington
  • Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal NEMT regulations
  • Evaluate, implement, and manage transportation software platforms; train staff and lead upgrades as needed
  • Directly supervise 2–3 dispatchers; develop and implement staff training frameworks across all sites
  • Establish KPIs and resource planning models to guide staffing and fleet decisions
  • Manage day-to-day program expenditures and identify cost efficiencies within VP-set budgets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7–10+ years in transportation operations, fleet management, or NEMT program leadership
  • Experience managing multi-site transportation programs
  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulatory compliance (local, state, federal)
  • Experience developing fleet acquisition strategies, training programs, and operational policies
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and people leadership skills
  • Washington State residency or willingness to relocate
