About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide hands-on operational support to senior PR leads across multiple concurrent campaigns and initiatives
- Translate conversations and decisions into clear actions, owners, timelines, and follow-up
- Maintain workbacks, trackers, calendars, status documents, and project documentation
- Anticipate needs, identify gaps or risks, and proactively move work forward
- Review fact sheets, messaging, briefing documents, press materials, note cards, and other PR deliverables
- Coordinate materials, feedback, approvals, and deliverables across internal and external partners
- Coordinate with PR agencies and brand, influencer, social, and marketing teams
- Maintain visibility into priorities, dependencies, deadlines, and outstanding decisions
- Follow up with stakeholders and drive accountability
- Support press events, activations, product launches, brand experiences, product seeding, and send-outs
- Coordinate event workbacks, materials, logistics, tracking, and follow-up
- Participate in NYC-area events, activations, agency meetings, and other in-person needs when local and appropriate
- Support earned media and campaign reporting
- Organize coverage, results, insights, and campaign highlights for internal and client-facing materials
- Maintain accurate reporting and documentation across workstreams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of relevant PR/communications experience
- Meaningful experience supporting consumer brands, ideally in beauty, personal care, wellness, or CPG
- Strong understanding of PR programs from strategy through agency execution, activation, and measurement
- Experience working across complex organizations, brand teams, agencies, and cross-functional partners
- Exceptional project management, organization, and attention to detail
- Highly proactive communication and consistent follow-through
- Ability to identify and raise issues before they become problems
- Comfortable owning high-level coordination and detailed execution
- Ability to determine “what good looks like” without extensive direction
- Low ego and enthusiasm for a hands-on, supportive role
- Ability to work primarily during standard Eastern Time business hours
