Works closely with the Product Owners, Developers, SQA Analysts, and other teams to manage the delivery of software testing against IHIE systems.
Responsible for defining testing best practices, directing the Testing Team’s strategies, and implementing quality assurance processes.
Manage SQA resources and employ automated testing tools.
Coordinate the team towards company goals.
Manage day-to-day operations of the IHIE’s Testing Team.
Coordinate with IHIE Managers, Directors, POs, and PMs to ensure high quality support and successful software testing.
Address inter-team and intra-team knowledge transfer and communication.
Report team status, accomplishments, progress, and issues.
Manage HR team responsibilities including job descriptions and hiring processes.
Establish personal & team goals based on company objectives.
Evaluate performance and deliver feedback via regular one-on-one meetings and yearly reviews.
Define training plans and promote new experiences for team professional development.
Drive technical strategic planning and organize product/team roadmaps.
Establish best practices for testing and deliverables.
Provide hands-on involvement with development & support teams.
Plan, design, and create test scripts and test plans for User Stories in Sprints.
Monitor and track system issues through remediation.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited university, plus two years of experience; or a master’s degree in computer science or a related field
** Experience:**
2+ years of QA Team management experience, or QA Team Lead responsibilities with motivation to pursue a management career path
4+ years’ experience with software testing
4+ years’ experience using quality assurance methodologies
2+ years of experience in web Services and API integration testing
2+ years’ experience with Agile/Scrum
2+ years’ experience with SQL
**Preferred:**
Health information or clinical data knowledge
Experience in a HIPAA regulated environment, helpful but not required

Proven success designing efficient, scalable, and maintainable QA software solutions
Ability to learn new and complicated techniques, tools, and business processes quickly
