About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for end-to-end support of regulatory change management process
  • Monitoring the regulatory landscape for new and changed laws
  • Analyzing laws and communicating regulatory changes to applicable areas within the organization
  • Tracking implementation evidence of compliance related to communicated laws
  • Supporting compliance investigations and reviews
  • Tracking all relevant documentation
  • Maintaining and applying knowledge of regulations and regulatory changes relevant to the industry and the organization
  • Working with business relationship owners and vendors to train and educate
  • Conducting monitoring, auditing, and surveillance of operational functions
  • Responding to compliance related questions, complaints, and incidents
  • Developing corrective action plans with stakeholders
  • Managing timelines and deliverables

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3 years’ internal audit, legal, compliance, insurance government program, and/or relevant experience
  • Ability to review compliance issues with some supervisory oversight
  • Communicates with state insurance departments and other regulatory agencies, as required
  • Assists in documenting procedure manuals, and processes; identifies process efficiencies
  • Provides support and expertise for projects
  • Identifies matters that may need to be escalated within the department
  • Delivers well-reasoned and detail-oriented work product of solid quality and effectively incorporates feedback
