Senior Facilities Manager
Independence Pet Group. Own and manage the North America real estate portfolio, including leased offices and subleased spaces.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and manage the North America real estate portfolio, including leased offices and subleased spaces.
- Lead lease administration including renewals, amendments, subleases, and critical date management.
- Partner with brokers, legal, and external advisors on transactions, site selection, and footprint optimization.
- Develop executive-level reporting on occupancy, costs, lease obligations, and portfolio risk.
- Oversee day-to-day workplace operations across North America, including building services, maintenance, janitorial, and office services.
- Establish consistent operational standards, playbooks, and service levels across all locations.
- Lead facilities vendor strategy including performance management.
- Ensure facilities support hybrid work, collaboration, and business continuity.
- Provide direct line management to Facilities and Office Management staff across North America.
- Set clear goals, accountability, and operating rhythms for regional and site-level teams.
- Coach, develop, and performance-manage team members to build a high-performing facilities organization.
- Partner with the IPH Risk team to enhance physical security protocols across all facilities.
- Support standardized security governance including access control, visitor management, and incident response.
- Coordinate remediation of identified risks with landlords, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead office buildouts, relocations, renovations, and closures from planning through execution.
- Partner with IT, People, Risk, and business leaders to deliver integrated workplace solutions.
- Drive change management and communications to support employee adoption.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or professional certifications preferred.
- Extensive experience in corporate facilities management, real estate, or workplace operations with multi-site responsibility.
- Proven experience leading and managing facilities and office management teams.
- Strong understanding of lease administration, vendor management, and workplace operations.
- Experience partnering with Risk or Security functions on physical security governance.
