About the role
- Requires extensive travel to various customer locations including hospitals and medical clinics
- Follow a set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to perform complete and accurate chemical inventory of hazardous materials
- Conduct inventory on approximately 400 chemicals daily
- Take clear and accurate photographs of all required data fields for materials
- Maintain accurate and complete data collection of chemicals inventoried
- Take appropriate care and precautions when transporting/using inventory equipment
- Maintain professional demeanor and communicate effectively with on-site customer representatives
- 100% travel to complete audits within different assigned facilities
- Must include 3 week/1 week off schedule
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Inventory Management or equivalent experience preferred, but not required
- 1-2 years previous experience working in a field that requires handling of hazardous materials required
- Previous audit/inventory experience strongly preferred
- Experience in healthcare (hospitals/clinics), lab environment, manufacturing or chemical production industry is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards and regulations regarding hazardous materials, desired
- Completion of OSHA safety course required
