About the role

  • Develop deep, committed character Bibles that fuel the prompts for visuals and scripts
  • Master the nuances of prompting, including expert-level use of negative prompting to refine AI outputs; Work fluently with AI tools such as (or similar to): AI image generation (e.g., Midjourney-style tools), AI video generation and scene creation, AI-assisted editing platforms
  • Drive the workflow to produce long-form videos and create short-form and long-form AI-generated videos for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms; Translate scripts into compelling visual stories using AI video, image, and motion tools; Assemble scenes, b-roll, character visuals, pacing, and transitions into polished final videos
  • Apply strong visual judgment around tone, rhythm, framing, and storytelling; Match visuals to the voice, personality, and brand identity of each IPAI host; Experiment with formats while maintaining consistency and quality across episodes
  • Extract social snippets/offshoots from long-form content for daily posting on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Combat daily AI challenges such as lip-sync quality, character "drift," and high video production costs through creative workarounds
  • Take the initiative to suggest new tools and techniques, teaching the rest of the team how to "move the ball" forward; Collaborate with creative leads, writers, and producers to execute content efficiently; Take feedback well and iterate quickly; Flag opportunities to improve speed, quality, or scalability in the workflow

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience creating video content using AI tools
  • Deep experience with the "Big Ones" (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) and specialized content tools like Midjourney, Runway, Fall AI, V03, and Nano Banana
  • Ability to discuss AI workflows using industry-specific verbs and adjectives (e.g., negative prompting, operators, lip-sync drift)
  • A "nothing is beneath me" attitude—willing to do whatever is necessary to ensure the company succeeds
  • Top-shelf organizational skills, capable of following and improving complex labeling and workflow systems
  • A self-starter who doesn't wait for instructions but instead presents points of view backed by data or visuals
  • A deep understanding of how to navigate and create for the current social landscape (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram)
  • A background in high-level visual training (such as that found in top-tier design or film programs) or a history of athletic discipline
