About the role

  • Develop and maintain scalable, efficient data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
  • Integrate, transform, and make data available for analytical and operational consumption
  • Manage and evolve cloud-based data infrastructure (AWS)
  • Automate data ingestion, transformation, and processing workflows
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance
  • Collaborate with technology, product, and business teams
  • Actively participate in client discussions and the squad's roadmap
  • Propose continuous improvements to architecture, performance, and processes
  • Support engineering best practices and knowledge sharing within the team

Requirements

  • Experience building data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Experience with cloud environments (preferably AWS)
  • Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
  • Knowledge of data modeling and building analytical structures (Data Lake / Data Warehouse)
  • Experience with code versioning (Git)
  • Experience working with large data volumes
  • Experience in product-oriented or squad-based environments
  • Familiarity with tools such as Athena or similar
  • Experience automating and optimizing pipelines
