Communications – Events Officer
Inbound TalentCommunications & Events Officer managing PR, social media, and events for a connectivity provider. Involved in planning, coordination, and delivery of communications and events activities.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the planning, coordination and delivery of PR, social media, events, awards and internal communications activity
- Help tell the company's story, promote key projects, support event activity, and strengthen the company's external profile
- Coordinate event logistics including registrations, suppliers, travel, accommodation, collateral, merchandise, presentation materials and briefing documents
- Draft and coordinate award entries, gathering evidence from across the business where required
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1-3 years of experience in communications, PR, or events role
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Good understanding of social media, especially LinkedIn in a B2B environment
- Excellent organisation and project coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, stakeholders and priorities
- Comfortable working with senior team members, sales teams and technical colleagues
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a proactive, can-do approach
- Ability to work independently while taking direction from the Marketing Director
