About the role
- Demonstrate, promote, and sell InBody’s professional line of Body Composition Analyzers - Strategically present functionality and key value propositions to prospective customers to meet and exceed quotas.
- Manage inbound and outbound leads via phone, email, and online channels.
- Qualify prospects, understand their needs, and deliver tailored product or solution presentations.
- Conduct in-person meetings and visits to customer sites, wellness facilities, and events (1-3 days/week).
- Develop and foster relationships - Maintain close communication with existing and prospective clients to close sales and promote customer retention within the medical, academic, and corporate market.
- Execute sales strategies - Adhere to current and updated strategies, KPIs, and policies.
- Collaborate with marketing, clinical, and product teams to align sales strategies across departments.
- Meet and exceed targets - Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual individual and team goals for new customer acquisition.
- Track progress and results - Record prospect interactions and track goal attainment in the CRM system (Zoho). Log activities, update the pipeline, and forecast sales.
- Research and understand the target market - Stay abreast of medical/academic industry trends, best practices, and InBody’s market opportunities.
Requirements
- Reside in NJ, NY, or MA.
- Must be able to commute to Midtown Manhattan (3 times per week)
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of relevant work experience.
- 1+ years of sales experience - including experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or in a comparable customer-facing sales role - with a proven track record of meeting and/or exceeding quota.
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain a high daily call volume (50+/day).
- Proficiency with CRM software (experience with Zoho preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to identify and close new business using a consultative and collaborative approach.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills; able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including negotiation, public speaking, and presentations.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency with Office 365 and ability to type 40+ WPM.
- Travel for business trips and tradeshows (up to 50% of schedule).
- Able to lift up to 65 lbs occasionally (for events/demos) and stand for periods during trade shows if needed.
