About the role

  • The Event Assistant will be responsible for supporting the planning, organization and execution of events, ensuring all stages run in an organized manner and on schedule.
  • Provide direct operational support, liaise with suppliers and monitor activities before, during and after the event.
  • Assist in planning and organizing corporate, social or promotional events.
  • Support in hiring and managing suppliers.
  • Organize schedules, guest lists and required materials.
  • Provide logistical support on the event day.
  • Oversee setup, guest reception and the conduct of activities.
  • Manage checklists, deadlines and operational requests.
  • Support communication with internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completed or nearing completion in a related field.
  • Experience in event management or support.
  • Basic knowledge of event organization.
  • Proficiency with basic tools such as Excel, email and presentation software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to solve problems quickly.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexible availability (events may occur evenings or on weekends).
  • Teamwork skills.
