About the role
- The Event Assistant will be responsible for supporting the planning, organization and execution of events, ensuring all stages run in an organized manner and on schedule.
- Provide direct operational support, liaise with suppliers and monitor activities before, during and after the event.
- Assist in planning and organizing corporate, social or promotional events.
- Support in hiring and managing suppliers.
- Organize schedules, guest lists and required materials.
- Provide logistical support on the event day.
- Oversee setup, guest reception and the conduct of activities.
- Manage checklists, deadlines and operational requests.
- Support communication with internal teams and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completed or nearing completion in a related field.
- Experience in event management or support.
- Basic knowledge of event organization.
- Proficiency with basic tools such as Excel, email and presentation software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive attitude and ability to solve problems quickly.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexible availability (events may occur evenings or on weekends).
- Teamwork skills.
