About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, operate, and continuously improve the AWS serverless data platform.
Maintain self-service tooling, templates, and scaffolding for serverless resources.
Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation and runbooks.
Act as a trusted technical partner to product and data engineering squads.
Ensure platform infrastructure adheres to security best practices.
Own and evolve IaC for all platform infrastructure using tools like Terraform.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement through regular platform reviews.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Deep, hands-on experience with the core serverless stack.
Knowledge of AWS IAM, VPC, and security patterns.
Strong Python skills are essential.
Java familiarity is a benefit for legacy pipeline work.
Proficiency in Terraform is a must.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Comfortable with CloudWatch and ideally a third-party observability tool.
Practical knowledge of least-privilege IAM and secrets management.
