Key responsibilities & impact

The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting and supporting the integrity of IMS’ accounting operations.
Key contributor to the monthly close process and responsible for journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and maintaining general ledger accuracy.
Partners closely with Accounts Payable and cross functional teams, supports audits, and contributes to process improvements and integration efforts related to acquired entities.
Detail focused, deadline driven, and takes ownership of accounting processes from start to finish.
Comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and communicating effectively across teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
4–6 years of relevant accounting experience
Experience in a law firm or consulting environment is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience with Intacct or similar accounting systems preferred
Strong working knowledge of GAAP
CPA or progress towards a CPA is preferred but not required
