About the role

  • Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to gather detailed reporting and dashboard requirements.
  • Define scope based on business needs and identify aligned reporting solutions.
  • Design, configure, and deliver Epic Clarity/Cogito dashboards and validated reports.
  • Review and leverage Epic Data Handbook templates; create custom reports when templates are insufficient.
  • Validate reports and dashboards with customers to ensure data accuracy and usability.
  • Explain report structures and dashboards clearly to stakeholders.
  • Deliver completed reports, report enhancements, and dashboards within established timelines.
  • Document solutions and provide knowledge transfer to internal reporting and analytics teams.
  • Serve as subject matter expert in Epic reporting tools and independently manage project deliverables.
  • Utilize expertise in Hyperspace, Interoperability/Integration and Roles, Dashboard design, Content Management, and Chronicles for validation and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Epic Cogito Certification (Required)
  • Preferred modules: Access Data Model, Revenue Data Model, Grand Central Data Model
  • Hands-on experience with Epic Hyperspace workflows
  • Experience with Interoperability/Integration and Roles within Epic environments
  • Experience creating and optimizing dashboards
  • Experience with Epic Content Management for reporting and dashboards
  • Experience navigating Chronicles for data validation and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Epic Reporting Workbench and Radar tools
  • Strong understanding of Epic data structures, operational workflows, and performance metrics
  • Ability to explain reports and dashboards to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven success in gathering requirements and translating into reporting solutions
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and independent project management skills
  • Must be available during Central Time Zone business hours
