About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the technical roadmap from early research and prototyping through to production
Design and build the core systems behind live market creation, pricing and decision-making
Make key architecture decisions, balancing speed, reliability, cost and scale
Build quickly, test ideas early and strengthen what works after validation
Work closely with the GM to shape the product experience, not just the underlying technology
Collaborate with infrastructure partners
Use AI tools and agents as a practical force multiplier to speed up thinking, building and delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience building and shipping production systems, ideally in early-stage or fast-moving environments
Proven ability to design systems where speed and reliability genuinely matter
Strong Python and TypeScript experience
Familiarity with blockchain products or on-chain systems
Good product judgement and the ability to connect technical decisions to user outcomes
Familiar with Solidity and EVM-based development, including writing, deploying and interacting with smart contracts
Comfortable working in ambiguity and making progress without a fixed playbook
A hands-on, practical mindset with a bias towards shipping
