About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ship production features that improve conversion, usability, or customer experience across lending flows
Build familiarity with Imprint's front-end architecture, component systems, and design patterns
Contribute to system reliability through testing, performance monitoring, or incident response
Collaborate effectively with product, design, and backend teams to translate requirements into polished user experiences
Deliver clear, maintainable code that other engineers can build on
Design, build, and maintain front-end features and components while implementing customer-facing flows for our Account Servicing functions. These functions directly impact end users experience.
Build responsive, accessible, and performant web experiences that work across devices and browsers
Collaborate with designers to translate mockups and prototypes into production-ready code
Partner with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flows
Write tests, contribute to code reviews, and maintain code quality as the platform scales
Participate in on-call rotations and respond to production incidents
Contribute to front-end architecture, component libraries, and engineering standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–7 years of software engineering experience building front-end applications
Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one front-end framework (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular)
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
Experience with state management, component architecture, and front-end testing
Familiarity with API integration, asynchronous data handling, and error management
Demonstrated ability to ship production code, debug issues, and respond to operational incidents
Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating across product, design, and engineering teams
Ability to work in ambiguous environments and make pragmatic engineering tradeoffs
